Fortunately, the animals made the transition well - better than the human! The reduction in milk production was expected, however it hasn't recovered as much as hoped for. That means soap is a bit late in starting up again, however, production should begin again in the next few days.
Online ordering will be enabled soon - and plans are in the works to offer even more wonderful products later this year (lotion, body butter, laundry detergent, etc.) but don't tell anyone yet ;)
In the midst of the chaos of the move, I made a quick trip to GA to pick up a doe I had bred and sold - she was offered back to me out of great courtesy from the buyer when they decided they needed to scale back. I was delighted to get her - and she is now having time to adjust to her new surroundings before having to mix with the rest of the bossy does. Ginger was moved to her pen to keep her company while she settles in.
While the unpacking, organizing and general confusion is still in abundance, now that everyone and everything is in one place, an effort will be made to keep up with the weekly blog as originally intended.
